Max is a co-founder of iNform Health & Fitness Solutions with over 20 years experience helping people achieve effective health behaviours and with their movement goals. He is an Accredited Exercise Scientist and Physiologist and experienced educator and practitioner in the musculo-skeletal rehabilitation field and healthy ageing space. When not at iNform, Max can be found enjoying the best of Adelaide’s wine and food, or riding his bike in the amazing Adelaide Hills!

PROFILE:

Max is an Accredited Exercise Scientist and Exercise Physiologist. He is committed to equipping and coaching his clients and community to develop sustainable exercise and health behaviours to ensure great quality of life and healthy ageing. He believes we should all “die young as LATE as possible”!

In additon to coaching his clients, Max strives to continuously increase the impact his business has on its community and contributing to the growth of a great team! He also loves educating students and new graduates in the industry, both during their time at iNform, but also when he is invited to lecture at tertiary institutions. 

Personally, Max loves outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, rucking (hiking with a weighted pack)  and skiing (on water or snow!!). To recover from these activities, he loves to explore great food and wine shared with loved ones!

Max completed an Applied Science Degree (Exercise and Sports Science) in 1998, and an Honours Degree in Human Movement in 2000. He is the current Chair of UniSA’s Exercise and Sports Science Advisory Group, and a recent Chair of ESSA’s Exercise Science Advisory Group. He is also an Adjunct Senior Industry Fellow of the University of South Australia

Max is also a Past Board member of Fitness Australia, and past Member of the Australian Fitness Industry Standards Council. 

He has multiple internationally peer-reviewed publications in the areas of exercise physiology and musculoskeletal sport sciences; and is a regular guest lecturer on Exercise Prescription and Rehabilitation to students of the University of South Australia and other tertiary educational institutions.
