Grace Smith iNform Exercise Scientist

PROFILE:

Grace has degrees in Exercise Science and Human Nutrition from Flinders University. Her interest in exercise as a profession was initially piqued through her own enjoyment playing and watching sport, and a desire to work with athletes. Through her studies she discovered she found it equally rewarding working with those who want to improve their general health and well-being, and the quality of their daily lives, through exercise and movement.

Grace is inspired by those who use exercise and nutrition as an opportunity to live a long and healthy life, so they can continue doing the activities they enjoy, prevent injury and illness, and are best positioned to bounce back if a medical episode does occur. Grace particularly enjoys working with her female clients on improving their strength and bone density during the menopausal and post-menopausal stages of life.

In her own time, Grace enjoys many activities including exploring the local walking trails, her own gym workouts, reading a good book, and watching her favourite artists in concert. She strives for continuous learning and outside of uni has done short courses in women’s health and sports nutrition.
